CyberCarnaval de Nice 2011 sur Second Life ...

En 2010, Carnaval de Nice avait déjà reunir Internet users around the world for a parade made of pixels. The virtual carnival parade 2011 will bring together artists from around the Mediterranean on 3D reproduction of the Massena in the interactive world of Second Life artist Patrick Moya Nice.
Visible on the big screen in the Place Massena, the cyber carnival will also be a meeting Feb. 25 and 26 ... er organized by Patrick Moya in partnership with the Tourist Office of the City of Nice.

The guest speaker will be the greatest expert on virtual worlds, Italian Mario Gerosa , author of numerous books and exhibitions on the subject. Editor of AD magazine Italy and multimedia teacher at the University of Milan, he organized in Florence in 2009 the exhibition Rinascimento Virtuale presenting for the first time "the art of Second Life. He also created the first travel agency for virtual worlds "Synthravels" and a repository of virtual architectures.

Among the other guests who will be involved in real Italian during this meeting:

Giampiero Moioli , professor of sculpture at the University of Brera in Milan and artist in Second Life, he created the Virtual Lab to help university students to learn about the Brera virtual worlds. A recent book on the virtual Lab preface by Philippe Starck has brought together the texts of numerous specialists metaverse.

Fabio Fornasari , known architect in Second Life but also real, since he just finished with Italo Rota's new museum in the Palazzo Novecento dell'Arengario on the Piazza del Duomo in Milan. He is a professor at the University of Urbino and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Milan.

Several other speakers will speak live from Second Life:

- Wafa Bourkhis , Tunisian artist, Professor of Art Education and doctoral student at the University of Tunis. Known as the Sunflower Aichi in the virtual world and creative arts union for the Mediterranean, she recently organized direct from Second Life for the Technology Conference, Youth Issues and digital creation at the University Centre of Gabes.
